Over one million square miles will be covered by spidertracks this summer as they conduct an air tour of the United States showcasing the simplicity and value of real-time flight tracking to aviation businesses across the country.
Jerry Lee, Chief Pilot for the AirTour and spidertracks's VP sales for the United States, says he's excited to demonstrate our latest features and functionality to new and existing clients.
"Flight tracking isn't as complex, heavy, or expensive as it used to be; but people don't really realize that yet. We're talking about technology that used to cost upward of $20,000 now being available for little more than $1000. Being able to show the capability and simplicity of the spidertracks system to people who thought it would have been out of their range is really rewarding.
"We have a Spider onboard with us, so people are able to see us coming. We've planned the route quite wide to allow for last-minute requests by people who want us to drop by. We've already got quite a few people to see, but there's always room for more," says Jerry.
Spidertracks will be departing Orlando, FL on July 12 on a direct track to Houston, TX for the Airborne Law Enforcement Show and will work back towards Florida for leg one before heading for the West Coast.
